A significant gender gap has persisted throughout the years at all levels of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines all over the world. Even though women have made tremendous progress towards increasing their participation in higher education and career recognition, they are still under-represented in these fields.
This photography project aims at celebrating woman and girls in science as brilliant mind and hard workers committed to innovation and improvement of human condition despite socio-cultural differences and limitation. With a closer eye on what a laboratory life really means, I’ll bring you in the exceedingly hard and demanding world of research to inspire and support future generation in pursuing their career in science.
